Chris Walker is a Senior Project Designer at Wingate Hughes with 13 years of interior architecture experience. Chris’ career includes design of small tenant properties, government buildings, tech headquarters, and large-scale projects over 1 million square feet. He is a thorough designer who maintains the highest level of technical ability across multiple projects while designing ideal, imaginative spaces based on original ideas, team collaboration, and experience.
Chris is originally from Maryland and has spent most of his life in the Washington, D.C. area. He has a unique understanding of the changes the District has experienced over the past decade. He sees D.C. as more than just the nation’s capital and designs spaces for the city’s best and brightest to work and create. Inspired by everyday life and the small things comprising a larger whole, Chris appreciates the building blocks that lead to project completion.
Before joining the Wingate Hughes team, Chris fine-tuned his architecture and interior design skills at three firms over 10 years.
